With over two decades of experience in banking, lending, real estate, and foreclosure prevention, Joe Hall has built his career on helping homeowners protect what matters most—their homes.
Joe began his financial career at Bank of America, working in Banking and Lending (1997–1999) before moving into a Loan Officer role for a corporation in 1999–2000. From there, he became a Licensed Lending Broker with Mortech Financial Group (2000–2007), where he quickly advanced to Junior Partner in 2004.
When the housing market crashed in 2007, Joe made a pivotal shift to better serve his community. While his business partners continued as Loan Officers, Joe transitioned into real estate, earning his Realtor’s license and focusing on helping local families in Ventura County navigate the foreclosure crisis.
In 2009, Joe became a Partner and Co-Owner of Venco Realtors, where he and his team helped more than 1,000 clients keep their homes through loan modifications. For those unable to retain ownership, Joe guided homeowners through short sales, helping them avoid foreclosure while securing relocation assistance from lenders. Venco Realtors continued this vital work until 2014, when the market stabilized.
That same year, Joe partnered with Rounds & Sutter LLP, expanding his expertise into bankruptcy and debt solutions. Over the years, Joe has successfully completed more than 300 lien strips, giving clients the ability to sell properties burdened by heavy tax liens and financial hardships lingering from the 2007 crash.
Today, Joe continues his mission with Equity Shield, combining his background in lending, real estate, and legal strategy to provide foreclosure prevention, bankruptcy navigation, and home equity protection. His passion remains the same as it has since the beginning: to advocate for homeowners during their toughest financial challenges and guide them toward lasting stability.
